Haha, lucky you! My grandmother doesn’t really mind muslims, her hate is more focused towards anyone of Chinese/Japanese descent. My grandfather hates anyone who isn’t white, period. It’s really sad.
Damn, same with my grandparents but they really focus on the “terrorists”. My dad’s fresh off the boat Puerto Rican and my boyfriend’s Asian but they just turn a blind eye. Another one of my many grandfathers told me “it’s okay if you’re roommate’s black” like it would be too radical for me. I went to high school in Baltimore City. SIDE THING: I was just snooping on my roommate’s side and I found a Brisk bottle that’s not only mango- dragonfruit green tea (no idea they did such things), but features rocafort art!?! I CANNOT FIND MY PHONE TO TAKE A PHOTO.
