For some reason, I was actually expecting the NRA to concede a little on gun regulations and express interest in making sure that all gun owners procure their guns safely and securely for the safety of children in their press conference today.

Instead, they called for armed police officers at every school and said a bunch of other weird unhelpful things.

That is actually the opposite of what I thought was going to happen.

Also, why is it that people think a bystander with a handgun is going to take down a lunatic in riot gear with high powered assault rifles? They aren’t. Sorry.
