    alouettecosplay:

Idk. These pictures kinda just happened. I could write huge essays on how much Kate Kane means to me and everything I love about her and her character and such but Ill save you all 😉

I’ve wanted to do a photoset like this for awhile, something very intimate, dare I say showing Kate’s ‘vulnerable’ side and what not. Im not completely 100% happy with the set, its not completely what Ive envisioned but hey I still have more photos to go and I worked with the time and space I had. Maybe one day Ill nail the shoot like I see it in my head 🙂

Enjoy! I’ll post more if any more turn out alright 🙂

Batwing by Judd Winick and Marcus To

If you aren’t reading this book, you’re missing out. Although, I might be slightly biased because I fucking love both Winick and To.

    krookedkings

In 1920, following the death of his insane mother, the brilliant psychologist Amadeus Arkham begins the conversion of his ancestral home into a hospital for the treatment of the mentally ill, little suspecting that he has set into motion a nightmarish chain of event and consequence.More than half a century later, Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane is a place of dismal corridors and oppressive shadows. A bad dream house. A riddle in stone and timber, best left unsolved. For years, the demented and deformed enemies of the Batman have been imprisoned within the claustrophobic walls. In padded cells and unlit cellars, they have brooded and plotted dreaming of a day when they might rise up and overthrow the world of reason

    That day has come.

It is April 1st and the lunatics have taken over the asylum. Led by the Joker, they issue a terrible challenge to the one man responsible for their imprisonment.

    The Batman

In a harrowing contest of wits with his greatest enemies, the Batman must descend into the heart of darkness, confront his greatest fears and learn the truths of his own experience, or be broken.

This has always been one of my favorite Batman stories.

@GailSimone knows that Diana ain’t nuttin’ to fuck wit.

    Damn straight.

    It’s Wonder Woman.

    Better bring TWO armies.

My sole complaint about this scene? The singular of castrati is “castrato”.

    Yep.

This is the life of comics writers, I have tortured myself about that mistake ever since.

Can we talk for a moment about how fantastic Nicola Scott’s art is?
