Bruce Wayne:
It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then… he shoots fire from the skies and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him

DC Comics Presents #23 (Featuring Doctor Fate & Superman. July, 1980)
“Your magic is elemental – mine accomplished!”
You’ve also got the power of the press, Clark. It’s also more powerful than a locomotive, faster than a speeding bullet, and able to change the course of mighty rivers. If it wasn’t—if it couldn’t help people—I wouldn’t be here. And neither would you. — Lois Lane, SUPERMAN: THE WEDDING ALBUM
Growing up in Smallville, I believed that journalism was an ideal, as worthy and important as being a cop, a fireman—a teacher or a doctor. I was taught to believe you could use words to change the course of rivers—that even the darkest secrets would fall under the harsh light of sun. — Clark Kent, SUPERMAN v3 #13
So Action Comics #14 comes out tomorrow. In it there’s a back-up story about Superman meeting Neil DeGrasse Tyson and it’s awesome. I know because I flatted it about a month ago for my amazing colorist Jordie Bellaire. I had no idea it was in coordination with Neil actually finding a planet like Krypton in space, which is even more awesome. Anyway, yeah, I get to be a part of Superman and Action Comics for a little while! (currently working on the next one as I type this! It’s also gonna be great!) Also, add this with the Superman comic I made about 8 months ago, and a weird triangle between Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Superman, and me is cemented as a thing that is happening. Yay comics and science!
the high pitched squealing noise i just made actually made my dog come running upstairs
