Yeah, I’m really not a Tolkien fan. I read The Fellowship of the Ring and about a quarter of The Two Towers and just couldn’t finish. It was an uphill battle getting through the first book, honestly. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that fantasy doesn’t interest me at all, really (I’d rather read just about any genre). I’ve never tried to read any of Tolkien’s non-related LotR stuff though, so it may just be those stories, and not his writing.

The Demon remains one of my favorite Kirby creations. Though I did this one a while back, it seemed appropriate to post it today. Happy 95th birthday Mr. Kirby. Thanks for everything.
