Whenever I click on a news story and it takes me to a video, I feel like I’ve been tricked.
I read much faster than the average person. I also don’t read every word of most news stories, because most journalists are terrible. I read to get the basic idea unless it’s a particularly pertinent and/or meaningful issue. So listening to someone read me a news story is possibly the most irritating method of journalism in existence.
