One of the biggest challenges I’ve struggled with when writing long fiction has been maintaining a consistent mood/atmosphere throughout entirety of the story. Every once in a while I have to go back to something (whether it be a scene, description, or just a piece of dialogue) and remind myself what I’m doing lol.
