just because depression gets better temporarily does not mean

• that it went away 
• is gone forever  
• the person was faking it  
• or they did it on purpose
• it wasn’t as bad as they thought it was 
• it’s not really depression
• they were having a bad day/week/month/year
• you know what depression is like for that person
• they needed a change of scenery/friends/wardrobe/jobs
• that you can make jokes about it
• that they can control it

Ehhh. I firmly believe that depression CAN be controlled without the use of any medication or outside source. I mean, I dealt with it almost all of my life but through discipline and a change in philosophy I haven’t had any serious issues in over a year.
