You guys got it all wrong! This is the real, correct way to pronounce gif.
I can count on one hand the people working at DC who can accurately write Jason Todd and Tim Drake. They’re both complex characters, sure, but they aren’t by any means hard to write. As a writer, I know that as long as you do your homework there isn’t such a thing as a character that’s hard to write. And people who do have difficulty dealing with the characters their writing should probably think of switching fields.
Really this doesn’t just apply to Tim and Jason. I’m tired of seeing DC butcher all of their characters. They’ve used the ‘New 52’ as an excuse to take characters which have already been established and use them as a template for completely new characters. In my opinion, that’s as lazy as you can get. They should have followed Marvel’s lead with the Ultimate line and printed the New 52 as something occurring on another Earth (instead of using Flashpoint as an excuse to ’re-write’ the multi-verse. Again, lazy writing).
