Communities across Canada host parades, barbecues, air shows, and concerts. There are citizenship ceremonies for new citizens, and, of course, fireworks! Check out pictures tagged #canadaday to see more.
From our headquarters in San Francisco, we hope our neighbors to the north had a happy Canada Day/Fête du Canada yesterday!
As you might suspect from the name, Canada Day is the national day of Canada. Celebrations are held to commemorate the anniversary of July 1, 1867 when the British North America Act officially united three colonies into a single country within the British Empire.
